PP180 and DD87: Regarding Dahlias and Just Believe

This card was inspired by my friend, Cindy of Cindy Lee Bee Designs, who introduced me to color embossing the dahlia at one of her classes last year.  Guess what stamp I ordered when I got home that night?!  Right, you are!!!   Regarding Dahlias has been a beautiful addition to my stamp collection.  This card uses Dynamic Duos challenge colors of Melon Mambo and Basic Black.  The layout is the Paper Players 180 Sketch Challenge.

While the card is quite straightforward, one tip I do have to offer for new stampers is to create a “channel” for your tag, so that the tag remains centered on the card.  Simply lay the tag in the desired position on the back of the cardstock matte, then place a piece of red line tape onto the  matte ¼” above and ¼” below the tag, place another piece on the matte where you want the tag to stop when it’s in resting position.  These three pieces of red line tape form the sliding track for your tag.
