I used this week’s Retrosketch for the layout of this card. I wanted something a bit different for the top corner, so I did a Herringbone paper piecing pattern which used 4 different sheets of DSP from the new Watercolor Wonder set; I do believe that’s my all-time favorite DSP (at least for this week)! After piecing the paper together, I ran it through the Big Shot using the Elegant Bouquet EF. Next I punched out one of the embossed flowers and replaced it with a stamped pansy from the new Flower Shop bundle (stamps and punch sold together). I wanted a little more dimension to the card, so I embossed the front with the Stripes EF before mounting the corner piece. Just Add Ink’s challenge this week was to “just add stripes,” so the stripes qualified the card for a second challenge. A couple of rhinestones added the finishing pop after securing the greeting.
