SUO #91 Banner Challenge – Sale-a-bration

The challenge from SUO this week was to design a project using a banner.  I have to confess, I haven’t been a big banner lover and had actually never made one before.  But, I saw a card by Susie Hanich Brown today which inspired me in the design of this card.  In addition to the banner in the upper corner, I carried the banner theme to accent the greeting, by placing a banner piece on each side of the greeting.  This card features 2014 Sale-a-bration items, along with some 2013 Sale-a-bration Pool Party ribbon accents.

  1. Wow…for not having done one before, this banner is darling! I love the “flags” on each end! Great colors, too! Thanks for playing along with the SUO Challenge this week!

  2. I agree with Connie! For your first banner project, this is wonderful! Love the colors, use of the chalkboard effect for the sentiment along with all of your banner accents! Thanks for playing along with us at SUO Challenges 🙂
